Learn How to Change Your Caller ID

How To Change Your Caller ID on Your Phone

If you don’t know what caller id spoofing is, it’s what happens when a caller alters their caller identification information before calling you. Once the call is placed, the new information is shown rather than the real caller identification. This can be executed through a number of different companies that provide what is commonly known as a spoof card.

A very ingenious way to use these caller id cards is to call people acting like you’re someone else. This convinces the other party to pick up and then you are able to be who ever you want to be. Imagine calling someone and pretending that you are a film star or something similar and spoofing the caller id to match.

Frequently, caller spoofing can be used in investigations to help the people that are being observed into surrendering valuable information that can then be used against them at a later date. In a lot of cases, creditors, who are attempting to get a hold of their customers with outstanding bills, have used this to change their caller id being showed in order to get their calls answered.

I would suggest that if you are getting called from people wanting you to give out your information that you quickly do a reverse phone lookup to see if they are legit or trying to scam you.

Now you might think that just changing caller id information is enough. Well, actually it sometimes isn’t. That’s why some spoofing companies even have abilities that include recording the phone calls, built-in voice modifiers to make it easy to disguise your voice, and some even allow for you to be able to check up on your spouse! And the reason they can do this is because of Voip Technology.

It’s important to remember that some of the times when the phone rings, it may not always be the individual that the caller id says that it is. So always guard your information from people who ask for it as they might not really be calling from the bank! Also, remember to use your new spoof card wisely.

The Best Spoof Cards for Changing Caller Identification that we Recommend:

  • SpoofCard – SpoofCard offers the ability to change what someone sees on their caller ID display when they receive a   phone call. Simply dial the toll free number and then your PIN. You’ll then be prompted to enter the destination number followed by the phone number to appear on caller ID. It’s that easy.

Voip

A lot of souls do not realize that VOIP delivers so many features. Ages ago 911 calling was not achievable, however, when you sign up, you are asked to include a position of your phone so that in the case of an emergency, help can be called and easily sent to your location.

Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.
